Fashion month is upon us! With Paris Fashion Week under our
As can be seen from Copenhagen Fashion Week’s Website, many of the collections showcased on the runway embody a sense of minimalism with a twist. Some inspired by the feminine silhouette, some by vibrant splashes of color, and others by traditionally masculine tailoring, the runway shows are pulling out all the stops. However, our eyes are on Scandinavian street style, and the gorgeous ensembles we’ve seen some of our favorite influencers wearing.
Influencer and Copenhagen native, Josephine, was spotted in between shows wearing an oversized blazer and a dramatic, unevenly hemmed plaid skirt. Her ensemble combines the traditional masculine silhouette with a feminine skirt, a trend that seems to be on the rise in 2019.
Mega-influencer Danielle Bernstein of @weworewhat comments on how inspired she was by Scandinavian street style, and her outfit only furthers that message. She has brought the camel trend that grew so popular this winter into 2019, and is pulling it off fabulously. Her corset-style belt allows a less form fitting ‘fit to become more feminine – we are LOVING it!
Jeanette Madsen and Thora Valdimars strut down the side walk looking chic as ever. We are loving Jeanette’s plaid mini skirt and sweater; the perfect look for a day out and about or a night on the town. Thora sports a bright orange blouse with statement sleeves, and western-inspired light wash denim – two trends that are easy to incorporate into everyday style and really elevate an outfit.
Fashion Month is always a good determinant of what it is we have to look forward to on the clothing racks for upcoming seasons. Whether it be plaid, masculine-inspired tailoring, pops of color or western-style denim, we are ready to follow in our favorite influencers’ footsteps!
