That’s why it’s no surprise that the haircare brand has become a go-to for professional stylists everywhere. To get a deeper understanding of Christophe Robin’s appeal with stylists, The Tease had the pleasure of speaking to Christophe Robin stylist and OPUL founder Edgar Parra. Ahead, Parra talks about his love of Christophe Robin, his favorite products, and more.

How did you first get introduced to Christophe Robin?

Edgar Parra: Christophe Robin was introduced to me by peers for its instant and long-term results, and it has forever remained in my kit for years. As the purveyors of luxury beauty, I’ve tried it all. It is always a delight to work with Christophe Robin products.

The Tease: What do you love most about Christophe Robin’s products and the results you receive?

Parra: All Christophe Robin products deliver gorgeous results, while taking you on an aromatic journey. There is a product or treatment for all hair types that offer a luxurious and sensorial experience—what’s not to love?

What Christophe Robin products would you recommend for first-time users?

Parra: The Christophe Robin Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner with Aloe Vera is hydrating and weightless. It is a must try for all clients!

Are there certain products you like to use for different treatments or styles?

Parra: My favorite go-to duo of styling products are the Instant Volumizing Leave-In Mist with Rose Water for the roots and the Hydrating Leave-In Mist with Aloe Vera for the ends. Hair has shine, lift, and bounce that lasts – and smells divine.

Are there any ingredients from a product that you specifically like for certain textures?

Parra: The Regenerating Mask with Prickly Pear is amazing for anyone with unruly hair. It really helps tame frizz, soothe dry hair, and even restructure curls. I also like that the mask is “instant”, so results are immediate after combing through the hair. I always recommend my clients to treat themselves to this mask once a week for maintenance.

What are two quick reasons why stylists should use Christophe Robin products in their salons?

Parra: Christophe Robin products are very popular among people with color treated hair. If you offer color services in your salon it’s a no-brainer. Transparency is key, I think the messaging on these products makes it clear to the consumers what each product is trying to achieve.
