L’ange Wants to Uplift Stylists and Salons with New Instagram Campaign

01/08/2021

Now, more than ever, it’s so important to show salon professionals support. As we have all seen in the last year, salon and barbershop owners and independent stylists have struggled tremendously to stay afloat during the coronavirus pandemic, due to slowed business and forced closures.

L’ange is doing their part to help the salon professional community during these trying times with their new #LangeSupportsStylists Instagram campaign.

The powerful initiative, which kicks off today, aims to help hairstylists get back on their feet and drive clients back into their salons. As part of the campaign, L’ange will handpick select images from stylists and salons across the country to feature on their Instagram page, as well as assist them with marketing efforts and media reach to drive their business. By doing so, the brand hopes to achieve their goal of increasing visibility of work and foot traffic to stylists’ salons.

“While most manufacturers feature stylists’ work by tagging them and encouraging others to follow them, we want to take it one step further, said Sloane LaMartina, VP of Communications for L’ange, in a press statement. “The goal isn’t to just get them more followers and create awareness for them, but to have people in their local area know about them and make an appointment.”

In order to be considered for the campaign, stylists will need to post pictures of their work using the hashtag #LangeSupportsStylists on Instagram. If chosen, L’ange will work with each selected stylist or salon individually to create engaging content for the ads that will be used to help their business and they will be able to track the ad’s success, as well.

“Not all salons have the marketing and advertising background to get the word out about their services,” LaMartina added. “This is what we do very well. By working with each of the chosen salons and stylists individually, they can let us take the marketing wheel to drive customers in their doors so that they can focus on what they do well — doing hair and making people feel beautiful inside and out.”
