For the recent L’AGENCE ss25 show in New York, lead hairstylist Liz Rim looked to controversial tech to inspire the runway looks. Rim said, “we were going for a modern Parisian look with fringe, inspired by AI.”
She added, “for the looks, we wanted to give a very robotic look, almost like an army. AI is known to look so real that sometimes it can appear too perfect.” Using IGK products, Rim and Team leaned into AI’s hallmarks. “We presented this idea in the show through flawlessness and similarly with diversity. With the fringe we wanted to soften the look to make it approachable. But, by giving every model the bob, we made it have a robotic feel.”
If you’re feeling inspired by Rim’s vision, you’re in luck, as the team from IGK shared a detailed breakdown so that you can recreate the look. Read on for more.
