If you’ve ever wanted to invest your money in an emerging hair brand that could one day become the next big thing, now’s your chance!
Loza Tam, a celeb-loved hair accessories brand, is providing their customers and fans the unique opportunity to invest in their company as part of its newly launched equity crowdfunding campaign. As part of the campaign, the brand will be teaming up with WeFunder, the nation’s leading investment crowdfunding platform. The brand is currently set out to raise $50,000 with the hopes of being able to grow its efforts in entering the retail space and making protective hair accessories a beauty staple for millennials and Gen Z consumers. And, with as little as $100, anyone can now get in on the action and become a key part of Loza Tam’s success.
“Our WeFunder crowdfunding campaign will give beauty lovers the unique opportunity to own a piece of Loza Tam by investing as little as $100,” says Tomara Watkins, Founder & CEO of Loza Tam. “Whether big or small, these funds will help us to drive our company forward, accelerate growth, better market our brand, and make the world a more equitable place for women and people of color who are building amazing brands like Loza Tam.”
If you’re not super familiar with Loza Tam, it was founded in 2016 by Watkins after she suffered one too many bad hair days. Six years later, her versatile and modern satin-lined hair wraps, turbans, and headbands have become a favorite among celebs like Simone Missick and the cast of the Real Housewives of Potomac, for their ability to prevent an array of hair issues including frizz, dryness, and breakage while still serving as a stylish accessory. Even celebrity Felicia Leatherwood, who’s known for her work with stars like Issa Rae and Ava Duvernay, has voiced her support for the brand saying, “It’s a cozy, go-to for stylish hair protection.”
More recently, Loza Tam has launched its latest Luxe Collection that features four new products—all crafted from luxe lightweight, four-way stretch, cotton jersey fabrics sourced in Europe. And, we can expect more exciting launches as the brand continues to build on its mission of creating products that combine style, comfort, and functionality to help women feel more confident.
Currently, at the time of writing, Loza Tam has raised $17,900 of its $50,000 goal. If you would like to make an investment in the brand, be sure to head here to visit their WeFunder campaign.
