- Starting in the back, part the hair in a diagonal section from the bottom of the left ear to the top of the right ear
- In a vertical application, apply F1 at the base to create a shadow root
- Color melt F2 from the line of demarcation through the ends
Step 2
- Part the hair from the top of the right ear to the left temple in a diagonal line, to create a triangular section. Continue parting the hair in this zig-zag pattern up to the top of the head.
- Apply Formula 3 and 4 using the same shadow root and color melt techniques as the previous step
Step 3
- Section the hair in another triangular section and color melt Formulas 4-5
Step 4
- Divide the hair in the final diagonal section
- Carve out a 2” semi-circle on the right side of the hairline and pin out of the way
- Apply Formulas 7, 8, and 9 using a color melt technique
Step 5
- The remaining semi-circle section represents the “color changing spoon”
- Apply VIVIDS Wild Orchid at the base to create a 1/2” shadow root
- Color melt VIVIDS Magenta into VIVIDS NEON YELLOW through the end
