After countless hours spent cutting, dyeing and styling hair, we all know the lower back, wrist, and other aches a little too well.
David Castle has heard every excuse under the sun from beauty professionals about why they’re not addressing these pains, and he’s had enough.
“I’m here to give you twenty-five years of education, knowledge, and experience working with tens of thousands of bodies. I’ve seen it all.”
David founded Industry Aligned to put an end to the excuses. He wanted to challenge the norm of stylists enduring pain as an accepted part of their craft.
“The deeper I dove into this industry, the more I realized how much help it needed. How much people are in pain, how there’s a negligence, almost a rejection, saying this is what comes with the job. We’re here to flip that paradigm and have people understand that you don’t need to be a statistic or outlier, we can make this the norm.”
Industry Aligned marks a turning point where stylists can easily welcome restorative therapies and non-traditional methods for healing. Industry Aligned even shares its wisdom and step-by-step guidance on its Instagram, uncovering secrets on the harm mats cause and what to do if blowouts are giving you burnouts.
In season three, episode thirteen of Volume Up by The Tease, David breaks down why stylists experience these pains and how his programs treat them. He shares invaluable tips on prevention and management, acknowledging that finding balance in the salon is a universal struggle but one you should not tackle alone.
“I want people to understand the value of taking care of themselves. I want people to feel like, “Hey, I just want to get out of pain, feel stronger, and be better at my job.”
David is dedicated to helping beauty professionals realize their full potential because when you feel your best, you can give your best.
“Let’s try because you never know where you are going to strike gold sometimes.”
