When Cristin Milioti and celebrity hairstylist Clayton Hawkins team up, they’re bound to serve. It’s simply an inevitability. And this weekend we were treated to two totally different looks — hair down for the Indie Spirit Awards on Saturday and then “up, up, up” for Sunday’s 2025 SAG Awards! Milioti’s sexy little updo caught our eye immediately. Formal, for sure, but unfussy.

Get the Look:
- “I started by saturating her damp hair with the new Grow Long Ultimate Blowout Spray. This stuff gives a super smooth blowout, speeds up blow drying time and also has anti-frizz humidity protection which is crucial for a sleek red carpet look.
- I then blew her out with my L’Oréal AirLight Pro (best blow dryer on the market fyi), making sure to take medium sized sections to get it extra sleek.
- Once her hair was dry, I separated it into 2 sections, clipping her hairline (from behind the ears) away.
- I then applied some of the Grow Long Scalp & Hair Serum to her hairline for shine and hold and pulled the back section into a tight low ponytail.
- I then unclipped the front and connected it to the ponytail with an elastic. I then used more of the Grow Long Scalp & Hair Serum on the pony and sculpted it into a swirly little shape.
- I secured it with matte dark brown hair pins and the final result is sleek and chic elegance.”
