Congratulations are in order for Sam Villa. The renowned hairstylist and co-founder of Sam Villa Company is set to be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the American Beauty Vision Awards on September 14th in Kansas City, Missouri.
A highly respected leader in the professional hair industry, Villa has dedicated his entire career to helping others cultivate community, confidence, and technical expertise. He also has a branded line of tools designed with ergonomic benefits to eliminate common stress on the body and ensure ease of performance.
“Sam inspires community…there’s something about the way he makes you feel…like you’re the only person in the room, said said Vilma Subel, Founder and Producer of the American Beauty Vision Awards. “He has a special energy that the industry just can’t lose and that’s why we’re honoring him…to cultivate and celebrate that energy…to sustain it.”
Speaking about the honor, Villa said, “A Lifetime Achievement Award is a celebration of my journey devoted to purpose, service, and the betterment of others. To the many amazing people who have helped me along the way, I thank you, and I promise to continue to inspire and serve by encouraging others to pursue their purpose with passion and integrity.”
This year marks the first time that the award ceremony (which was previously named Midwest Beauty Awards) is going national. Any interested stylists have until July 1st to enter here. Villa will be teaching a live look and learn class there on Monday, September 15th at Z Hair Academy.
