SexyHair Calls On Christina Aguilera to Help Celebrate Its 25th Anniversary


Believe it or not, but it’s been 25 years since SexyHair first hit the hair scene and blessed us all with their incredible products. Naturally, a milestone this huge calls for an extra-special celebration. And what could be more special than teaming up with Christina Aguilera on a truly unforgettable collaboration?

To mark the brand’s 25th anniversary, the pop diva will star in a brand-new campaign which highlights the pair’s status as beloved ‘90s icons. SexyHair will also be giving Xtina fans everywhere what they really want and need in the form of exclusive tutorials from the SexyHair stylist ambassadors on how to recreate the singer’s most memorable looks with SexyHair products. While you will have to wait until July to see the campaign officially launch in Ulta Beauty, we’re happy to report that it is currently available in Cosmoprof and SalonCentric via in-store product displays and ecommerce landing pages. Plus, the brand has already started rolling out the campaign across and its social channels!

As far as beauty collabs go, SexyHair and Xtina are pretty much a match made in heaven. In 1998, just as Aguilera was making her musical debut with the release of her iconic hit “Genie in a Bottle,” SexyHair was doing the same in the haircare industry, with the launch of their bold, statement-making “big red can.” Since then, the two have been rewriting the rules of beauty and inspiring generations to express themselves, ditch social norms, and embrace their sexiness. It’s also worth noting that as far as pop stars go, few have broken as many beauty boundaries or have had as much influence on how society perceives beauty as Aguilera. After all, we do have her to thank for teaching us all that we are beautiful in every single way.
