The Most Dazzling Hairstyles From the 2022 Grammys

At long last, award season finally came to an end with the return of the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. Hosted by Trevor Noah, last night’s ceremony was such a welcome treat after all of the chaos and controversy that surrounded last week’s Oscars.

Along with celebrating some much-deserved wins from our favorite musicians, music’s biggest night also blessed us all with a number of iconic performances from the likes of  Billie Eilish, BTS, and Olivia Rodrigo as well as some pretty memorable red carpet moments.

While all the over-the-top fashion may typically steal the show, this year the hair really gave us all something to talk about. So many celebs (and their glam teams!) leaned into serving statement-worthy hair with Y2K-inspired looks and bright colored ‘dos in particular being most popular.

Ahead, take a look at our favorite hairstyles from the 2022 Grammys.

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa debuted a new platinum blonde ‘do on the red carpet with the help of her hairstylist Chris Appleton. We’re living for her blonde moment and her super sleek strands.

SZA looked phenomenal with center-parted, shiny curls that were styled by hairstylist Tevin Washington.

Doja Cat

Doja Cat gave us all the Y2K vibes with her baby bangs, flipped ends, and spiky half-up half-down look that was styled by hairstylist J Stay Ready

Tinashe looked oh so lovely with her curly updo that came complete with pink jewels to match her dress. Her dreamy look came courtesy of hairstylist Nina J

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga was the epitome of Old Hollywood glamour with her classic pinned curls and twisted updo that was dreamed up by hairstylist Frederic Aspiras. According to Aspiras, much of the inspo for Gaga’s look came from the 1940s. “I designed an updo to go with Gaga’s vision for the night. I was inspired by the regalia of formal wear of the 1940’s that lends itself to the design of the dress,” he shared in an Instagram post

Chloe Bailey

Chloe Bailey did not come to play with her fierce textured ponytail and swirled baby hairs that came courtesy of hairstylist Fesa Nu

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton served ponytail goals with her sky-high ponytail that was styled by Eduardo Ponce

Billie Eilish

The emo vibes were strong with Billie Eilish last night when she hit the red carpet rocking long piece-y bangs and a spiky ponytail.

Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo looked like an absolute vision with her super glossy waves that were styled by hairstylist Clayton Hawkins

Laverne Cox

We have major heart eyes for these glamorous fuchsia waves that hairstylist Kiyah Wright styled for Laverne Cox. According to Wright, this 1920s-inspired look was all about the texture and shine.

Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Thee Stallion looked flawless as ever with her ultra-sleek strands that were styled by her hairstylist Kellon Deryck

All eyes were on Doechii and her waist-grazing ginger ponytail.

Avril Lavigne

Avril Lavigne served up major punk glam vibes with her orange dip-dyed locks which were styled by hairstylist Lauren Bates

Mickey Guyton

Mickey Guyton looked radiant as ever sporting an ultra-long gold wrapped ponytail and perfectly styled baby hairs. Hairstylist Hachoo was the mastermind behind this gorgeous look.

J Balvin

Why wear your heart on your sleeve when you can wear it on the back of your head like J Balvin. The Colombian singer showed off a bold red heart on the back of his electric blue buzzcut.

Japanese Breakfast

Japanese Breakfast looked like an absolute ray of sunshine with her bright yellow Valentino mini dress and her pearl embellished braided pigtails that came courtesy of hairstylist Preston Wada.

Halsey’s vintage Pierre Cardin hat may have stolen the show but we’re also big fans of their burgundy ombre locks that were styled hairstylist Marty Harper

We can’t get enough of Saweetie’s new icy-blonde pixie cut that was styled by hairstylist Kendall Dorsey. Doesn’t she look incredible?

Diplo hit the red carpet rocking a faded blue buzzcut that popped against his all-black ensemble.

Rachel Zegler

Rachel Zegler stunned with a center-parted  flipped bob that came courtesy of hairstylist David von Cannon
