At long last, award season finally came to an end with the return of the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. Hosted by Trevor Noah, last night’s ceremony was such a welcome treat after all of the chaos and controversy that surrounded last week’s Oscars.
Along with celebrating some much-deserved wins from our favorite musicians, music’s biggest night also blessed us all with a number of iconic performances from the likes of Billie Eilish, BTS, and Olivia Rodrigo as well as some pretty memorable red carpet moments.
While all the over-the-top fashion may typically steal the show, this year the hair really gave us all something to talk about. So many celebs (and their glam teams!) leaned into serving statement-worthy hair with Y2K-inspired looks and bright colored ‘dos in particular being most popular.
Ahead, take a look at our favorite hairstyles from the 2022 Grammys.
Dua Lipa
Dua Lipa debuted a new platinum blonde ‘do on the red carpet with the help of her hairstylist Chris Appleton. We’re living for her blonde moment and her super sleek strands.

Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga was the epitome of Old Hollywood glamour with her classic pinned curls and twisted updo that was dreamed up by hairstylist Frederic Aspiras. According to Aspiras, much of the inspo for Gaga’s look came from the 1940s. “I designed an updo to go with Gaga’s vision for the night. I was inspired by the regalia of formal wear of the 1940’s that lends itself to the design of the dress,” he shared in an Instagram post.
Chloe Bailey
Chloe Bailey did not come to play with her fierce textured ponytail and swirled baby hairs that came courtesy of hairstylist Fesa Nu.
