You’ve probably heard all of the supposed benefits of CBD oil. From relief of anxiety and depression, to pain management and acne treatment, it’s no wonder that more and more beauty companies are introducing CBD-infused products to their collections. But why exactly is becoming such a hot topic in the beauty industry? What’s in it for us?
Claudia Mata, the cofounder of Vertly, told Allure it has to do with CBD’s anti-inflammation properties and natural source of vitamins A, D and E. That explains why we’re seeing more and more facial lotions and serums containing CBD. Not only can it work to help alleviate the inflammation caused by acne, but a study found that it may also work to regulate the production of oil in the sebaceous glands.
Not only may it help replace nasty acne topicals and pills, it’s may reduce your Tylenol intake. Because of its anti-inflammatory properties, CBD oil can be applied as a topical in areas where you’re experiencing pain and work to reduce the inflammation and discomfort.
