Feather Me Fun

06/08/2017

The bounds of eyebrow styling have been broken – forget coloring and jeweling because a new, stickier trend is in town. Feather brows are an emerging technique that splits the eyebrow arch hair down the middle using a gluestick – we know, it’s borderline insane. Picture a classic feather and how it diverges along a quill. But instead of a feather, it’s your eyebrow.

So i’m starting this new brow trend please recreate it and wear it everyday and dont forget to tag me like and subscribe and hit that bell button???? ALL credits go to my muse @leevittu he came up with this whilst brushing my eyebrows last sunday brow: glue stick skin: @maccosmetics Face&Body foundation C1, @maccosmetics pro longwear concealer NW20, a lot of Fix+ for the wet effect highlight: @katvondbeauty Alchemist Palette (Emerald, Opal, Amethyst) eyeshadows: @lipsicosmetics lipstick on the lid and @maccosmetics matte lipsticks in Frosting and Matte Royal mixed for the inner&outer corners mascara: @maccosmetics in extreme dimension lash mascara in Hold For 10

Feathered brows are definitely one of the most love-it-or-hate-it trends to hit IG recently and it’s too early to tell if this peculiar technique will stick. But we’re not gonna lie, it’s pretty eye-catching and we appreciate the innovation.
A Finnish makeup artist, Stella Sironen, sparked the fire by posting the photo to IG, telling her followers about her newfound trend. She later posted to explain it was a joke, but was excited to see how feather brows had taken off. When it comes to beauty, clearly nothing is too much.
Joke or not, these bold brows are mini makeup masterpieces – paired with glitter or a vibrant lip and you’re looking at some serious art. Put that pencil down, because a new grooming technique is in town.
