Official Rules
Submitting an entry constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of The Wella Corporation (“Sponsor”) and judges, which shall be final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. SWEEPSTAKES VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, RULE OR REGULATION.

Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Canada (excluding Quebec) and Puerto Rico who, as of the last day of the month prior to the date of entry, are eighteen (18) years of age, or the legal age of majority or older in the state or territory in which they reside. Void where prohibited by law. See additional entry restrictions below.
How to Enter: Between February 8, 2019 and March 4, 2019, enter by posting a photo on Instagram that represents your best work, showcasing why you have your dream job, along with the hashtag #GetYourDreamJob. Entries will not be judged; winner will be chosen via random drawing, as further described below.
Entry Restrictions and Conditions: All photos submitted in connection with this Sweepstakes must comply with the following:
• Your photo must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement;
• Your photo must not disparage Sponsor or any other person or party affiliated with the Sweepstakes;
• Your photo must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, libelous or otherwise questionable. Sponsor retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.
• Your photo must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and
• Your photo must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state or territory where your photo is created.
Each Entrant and, to the extent applicable, photographer and person/model depicted in photo, grant to Sponsor a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive right and license to copy, distribute, and display each submitted Entry, in any media and with the unlimited right to use, copy, modify, edit, and create derivative works therefrom, and agrees to execute documents confirming such right and license at Sponsor’s reasonable request.
No employee of Wella Professionals, or their families, will be allowed to enter the Sweepstakes.
Limit one (1) entry per person. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete or inaccurate entries. Incomplete entry forms or entry forms that have been tampered with will be disqualified. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the prize will be awarded to the account holder of the applicable Instagram account. Entrants agree that by entering the Sweepstakes, they give Sponsor permission to use entrant information for future email marketing purposes.
Any Entry not in compliance with all of the above restrictions and conditions will be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Winner Selection
One (1) prize winner will be selected via random drawing to be held on or about March 6, 2019, from among all eligible entries received. In the event the Sponsor does not receive a sufficient number of eligible entries, the Sponsor has the right to cancel the Sweepstakes. Drawing will be conducted by representatives of Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all aspects of this Sweepstakes.
Prizes:
Winner will receive the following prize package:
- One (1) ticket to America’s Beauty Show to be held on 3/30/19 in Chicago,
- One (1) ticket to Beauty Changes Lives Annual Gala to be held on 3/31/19 in Chicago,
- Round-trip, economy-class air fare and two nights hotel stay for the winner to attend the show and the gala, on an airline and at a hotel of Sponsor’s choosing.
All other expenses not specifically listed herein, including without limitation ground transportation, meals, personal expenses such as mini-bar, room service, internet access, telephone charges, laundry services, souvenirs, incidentals, taxes and gratuities, are the responsibility of the winner and not Sponsor.
Total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize package: $1500 USD. There is no cash redemption value.
Each prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. No transfer, assignment or substitution of a prize permitted, except Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize for an item of equal or greater value in the event an advertised prize is unavailable.
Winner must have a valid passport or other travel documents as necessary to travel to/from the show.
Odds of Winning: Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.
Winner Notification: Winner will be notified within two (2) days of the drawing, via e-mail or telephone. In the event a potential Winner does not respond to Sponsor’s notification or does not accept the prize within seven (7) business days of notification, the prize will be deemed forfeited and an alternate Winner will be selected. In the event that any one or more potential Winner fails to respond as stated above, declines the prize or fails to provide signed affidavits or releases as may be required by Sponsor, such Winner will be deemed to forfeit the prize and Sponsor will select an alternate Winner from the remaining eligible entrants. If any alternate(s) similarly fails to respond or declines the prize, Sponsor will use a reasonable number of attempts, in its discretion, to award the prize(s) to another alternate(s) but if it is unable to do so, the prize(s) will be finally forfeited and Sponsor shall have no further liability in connection with this Sweepstakes.
Taxes: Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes. If the actual retail value of Winner’s prize is $600 or more, the Winner must complete a W9 form and supply Sponsor with his/her social security number for tax purposes. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued in the name of the Winner for the actual value of the prizes received.
General: This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. Sponsor shall have no responsibility or obligation to any Winner or potential Winner who is unable or unavailable to accept or utilize prizes as described herein, is unable to travel or is unavailable on the dates of the show and gala. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and where legally permissible a Publicity Release within seven (7) days following the date of first attempted notification. Failure to comply with this deadline may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate Winner. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions, failures in servers, hardware or software transmission, errors, omissions, interruptions, communication failures or human error that may occur in the receipt or processing of entries, or for destruction of or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries and/or any entries submitted in a manner that is not expressly allowed under these rules. All incomplete or non-conforming entries and their entrants will be disqualified.
Indemnification: By entering, Entrant (or Entrant’s parent/legal guardian if any Entrant is deemed a minor in the state of his/her residence) agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, prize suppliers, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives and assigns from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liability (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), including (but not limited to) personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, receipt, use or misuse of any prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) and/or the broadcast, exploitation, or use of any entry. By entering, Entrant grants permission for Sponsor, and any of its affiliates and subsidiaries, participating advertising and promotion agencies, and prize suppliers to use the entrant’s submission (including an altered form of the entry), if any, for editorial, advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. If images are being submitted to Sponsor as a requirement for entry, Entrants agree that they have all rights to use the images submitted and to allow Sponsor, any of its affiliates and subsidiaries, participating advertising and promotion agencies, and prize suppliers to reuse any of the images, without any liability, for editorial, advertising and promotional purposes. Additionally, acceptance of the prize by Winner constitutes permission for Sponsor and any affiliates and subsidiaries, participating advertising and promotion agencies, and prize suppliers to use Winner’s name and/or likeness and biographical material for editorial, advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prize, each Winner agrees to hold Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representative agents, successors, assigns, officers, directors, and employees harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any printing, typographical, mechanical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prizes.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE CONTENT OR LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR WILL DISQUALIFY ANY SUCH ENTRANT AND RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Governing Law: The Sweepstakes and the Official Rules shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Ohio in the U.S., without regard to conflicts of law provisions. Entrants submit to exclusive personal jurisdiction in Ohio and agree that any dispute shall be brought in the state and federal courts in Ohio.
