Maria Nila introduced its Bond Builder this past March, and the patented leave-in treatment is quickly becoming a go-to for stylists looking to address hair damage at the source. Designed to rebuild broken disulfide bonds while forming a protective shield around each staff through its Neo Cuticle Technology, the lightweight spray delivers visible results from the very first application – no rinse-out step, no waiting time.
“Bond Builder has quickly become a favorite product for both me and my clients because of its instant results. They love how it feels and the renewed life it brings to their hair,” Maria Nila Expert Stylist Nicolas Lange shares.
Since launch, it’s supported stronger, smoother, healthier-looking hair with continued use, while protecting against future breakage. Formulated to work across all hair types, Bond Builder was built to fit seamlessly into any haircare routine or professional service. The 5.1 fl oz bottle retails for $45.00.

How It Works
Bond Builder operates in three stages. First, its bond-building technology rebuilds the hair’s internal disulfide bonds and protects the keratin structure. From there, Neo-Cuticle Technology creates a biomimetic layer that seals in moisture and shields hair from future damage. Finally, an active care complex of amino acids and natural extracts hydrates the hair, protects color, and leaves strands feeling stronger, smoother, and softer.
The formula also protects against heat up to 230°C/450°F, making it a practical add-on before any hot tool styling.

Backed by Ingredients That Do the Work
Each element of the formula is built to target a specific part of the damage cycle. Amino acids improve shine and strength, while biomimetic chia peptides proactively protect the hair shaft by forming that same neo-cuticle layer for added support. Sunflower extract and Quaternium-95 round out the formula, protecting hair against damage and helping color last longer.
How to Use It
Bond Builder is designed for flexibility. On damp hair, apply after shampooing — no conditioner needed afterward — distributing the product section by section before styling as desired, whether blow-dried or air-dried. Applying to damp, freshly-washed hair allows the cuticle to stay open so the formula can fully penetrate, rebuild bonds, and form its protective layer. It can also be used as a finishing touch on dry hair to smooth lengths and add an extra layer of protection against external damage.
As with all Maria Nila products, Bond Builder is 100% vegan and animal friendly, and manufactured in Sweden.
