For the L’AGENCE ss27 Paris Fashion Week presentation, the hair design mirrored the collection’s ethereal ease. Romantic, feminine, and effortlessly undone. Led by celebrity hairstylist, Narad Kutowaroo, and the UNITE Hair team, the hairstyles ranged from polished, sculptural buns to airy texture, high-shine lengths and modern Parisian ponytails, each crafted to feel elevated without looking overly styled. It’s Paris, after all.
The overall direction balanced softness, movement and understated sensuality, creating hair that complemented the designer’s collection rather than competing with it. Kutowaroo tells The Tease, “UNITE has been working with L’AGENCE for the past few seasons, and it’s always incredible collaborating with their team. The idea behind the L’AGENCE woman this season was really about leaning into her feminine side. Think ethereal and romantic. The collection is called Dream, which is all about stepping out of a dream and bringing it into real life.”
He shares, “We created four key hairstyles positioned around each piece in the collection, as well as the models’ different hair types. Some of the down straight hair and slicked-back buns were styled super sleek with a high-gloss finish. Then, we enhanced natural texture with beautiful loose curls, which leaned more towards Parisian street style. The ponytails sat between the two styles, sleek yet natural. They were sleek in the base of the pony, yet the natural texture was pulled through the lengths of the hair.”
