Beyhive, get your wallets ready because Beyoncé’s forthcoming haircare brand is dropping way sooner than you think!
On Tuesday evening, Queen Bey took to Instagram to announce that her new line, Cécred, will be launching later this month. The singer shared the announcement with an Instagram reel, which featured a projector set up against a screen showing various clips of Bey, along with women with various hair textures, getting their hair washed, teased, and styled. The video also shared a few clips of women working in a salon named “Headliners Hair Salon,” a nod to the salon her mother, Tina Knowles owned in Houston.
She captioned the post, “Hair is sacred. The journey begins Feb. 20. At this time, no other details have been shared about the haircare line.
Beyoncé first revealed, back in May 2023, that she would be venturing into the haircare world after posting a three-part carousel on Instagram, which features photos as well as thoughtful messaging about the meaning behind her brand.
“How many of ya’ll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?” Bey wrote in the post. “Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in hair salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”
