07/28/2022

With just hours to go until the official release of Beyoncé’s hotly anticipated Renaissance, the queen’s digital team has blessed us with new visuals. With creative direction by Andrew Makadsi, hair by long-time stylist Neal Farinah, and wardrobe styling by Marni Senofonte, the looks do not disappoint. Ahead some of our favorites!

On her website, Beyoncé wrote that her “godmother” Uncle Johnny was “the first person to expose [her] to a lot of the music and culture that serve as inspiration for this album.” We’re getting Pose and underground ballroom from this photo.

We’re getting Bob Mackie meets Mardi Gras Indian from this look. Perhaps in a nod to Mama Tina’s roots? Peep the Pre-Raphaelite spiral curls!

Does it get any better?

Of note, Renaissance is just act 1 of what Beyoncé has said is a three act project. We can’t wait to see what follows this creative rebirth.
