California Naturals’ haircare and body care products just got a lot more accessible. The brand, which is formulated with mostly natural and simple ingredients, is now available in 1,400 ULTA stores nationwide. Backed by actor Owen Wilson, who serves as an investor, advisor, and the brand’s playful “Chief Shampoo Officer,” this retail launch marks a significant milestone for the brand.
As part of this new retail expansion, fans of the brand will now be able to shop a variety of their clean, natural products including the the Super Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, the 2-in-1 Shampoo + Body Wash, Men’s Hair Daily Styler, and Glow Oil Body Wash, among many others.
But that’s not all. In addition to launching at ULTA, California Natural has also gotten a bit of a makeover, with a refreshed product lineup, updated packaging, formulations and brand new SKUs.

For those unfamiliar with the brand, California Naturals was founded in 2023 by Shelby Wild, who, after years in the beauty industry, saw a need in the market for products formulated with clean, natural ingredients that delivered high-performing results.
As a result, Wild created a brand that is crafted with 90%+ naturally derived ingredients and 100% PCR packaging, and is free from sulfates, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances and silicones. California Naturals also takes environmental sustainability very seriously and proudly holds Certified B Corp status. The brand also focuses on radical accessibility, which is why its wide range of products for all strands and texture types are under $12 dollars, $25 for shampoo and conditioner.
