Cyndia Harvey Breaks Down the Courrèges SS27 Runway Hair

10/05/2026

For the Courrèges ss27 show, Cyndia Harvey, lead hair stylist and L’Oréal Professionnel global creative contributor, collaborated with designer Drew Henry to match the House’s bold vision.

Harvey, known for her stunning editorial and session work, designed two hero looks for the runway models. One, more free-flowing and individualized per the model’s own length and texture, and the second, a more sculptural, sleek look.

Keep reading for a closer look at each of the Courrèges ss27 runway hero hairstyles and the L’Oréal Professionnel products used backstage.

Hero Look 1

Harvey shares, “The first look was all about individuality, while preserving each model’s natural personality. L’Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair Molecular Oil ($40.00) was used to separate and texturize the lengths, creating a soft, slightly grungy and intentionally undone effect.”

She adds that for models with short hair, “L’Oréal Professionnel FlexWeb Paste ($34.00) created the same feeling of a natural, free and effortless hairstyle.”

Hero Look 2: The “Mini Alien”

“We wanted to create a true moment of glamour while keeping something strange about it. We affectionately nicknamed it the ‘mini alien’,” Harvey shares.

To get this look, the hair was built around a bun base to create a shape that almost evoked a vortex, then secured with L’Oréal Professionnel Infinium Pure Extra Strong hairspray ($35.00) and finished using the L’Oréal Professionnel AirLight Pro ($475.00).
