For the affair, hundreds of esteemed beauty industry leaders gathered at the Zouk Nightclub located at Resorts World in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 10th, for an enchanted evening of philanthropy, entertainment, and inspiration. The fundraising event showcased the unwavering spirit and commitment of the beauty community to support groundbreaking research and compassionate patient care at City of Hope — a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center that is dedicated to preventing, diagnosing, and treating cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Attendees at the gala witnessed the presentation of the prestigious Spirit of Live Award to Dr. Shami. Recognized for his outstanding contributions to the beauty industry and his unwavering commitment to philanthropy over the last 35 years, Dr. Shami’s acceptance speech moved the audiences, underscoring the importance of giving back and making a difference in the lives of others.
