On November 10th, Ulta Beauty announced a super exciting new partnership with beloved retailer, Target. Beginning in 2021, the two stores will implement a “shop-in-shop” experience by providing space for Ulta’s prestige beauty brands in over 100 Target stores nationwide. With this new partnership, the two are redefining the beauty shopping experience by providing a new way for beauty lovers to discover new brands.
Not only will the partnership build on Target’s already existing beauty offerings, but it’ll provide brands with more opportunity for exposure as well. In a press release posted to Ulta’s site, the brand shared:
“[This] partnership brings Ulta Beauty’s best-in-class beauty authority to millions of guests who love the ease and convenience of Target’s one-stop shopping experience. It also provides beauty brands an opportunity to expand and grow in a new, industry-leading omnichannel retail experience.”
According to the release, Ulta Beauty at Target will expand the existing beauty section by another 1,000 square feet. “The planned locations will complement Ulta Beauty’s current store footprint, welcoming new guests to the brand and building upon Target’s existing assortment of beauty options.”
In addition to in-store locations, Ulta Beauty at Target will also have an online space to provide customers with easy access to beauty products. Free shipping will be available on qualifying orders, as well as with Target’s industry leading same-day Order Pickup services.
The announcement of the partnership may have been a surprise, but fans have already shown much excitement for their new shopping experience.
