Zendaya has a habit of making us think each look is her best one yet — until the next one drops. For the Los Angeles premiere of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” the actress stepped onto the red carpet with a sleek, slicked-back low pony that was perfected by frequent collaborator and celebrity hairstylist, Ursula Stephen. Stephen also added an unexpected detail that got us all talking — those bangs!
“The bangs are inspired from spider legs. We wanted to be super intentional for the premiere, so our inspo for the style of the bangs was a spider,” Stephen explains. Behind the look, Stephen turned to Bur Bur to pull off the final finish.
Keep reading for Ursula’s step-by-step process on how Zendaya’s hair moment came to life — you’ll want to take notes.
Get the Look
- “First, start with clean, wet hair, section it out and add gel throughout.
- Next, take the Bur Bur Essential Boar Bristle Brush ($72.00) to smooth and slick the hair to the head. The brush really allows you to get the sleekest look possible.
- Blow dry in place and finish with hold and shine spray to keep in place for the night.”
