Kien Hoang’s Vision of ‘Perfect Hair’ From the Wiederhoeft SS26 Show

09/14/2025

Like many others this season, the Wiederhoeft SS26 Collection, titled, “Lost Works,” drew inspiration from nostalgia. We’re talking uncovered treasures and forgotten techniques. Oribe Principal Artist of Global Design, Kien Hoang  brought this vision to life with two distinctive hair looks that highlight beautifully “perfect” hair, matching the sensation of uncovering something special.

Get the Look: Spiral Curls

  1. Spray Superfine Strong Hair Spray on the roots, then create a deep side part.
  2. Next, gather hair into two small ponytails on the top of the head, pulling the hair firmly back and securing each ponytail with an elastic.
  3. Then, create two additional small tight ponytails on the back of the head, securing each with an elastic
  4. Adhere a bun form to each of the ponytails at the back of the head, pulling the hair through the forms to expand texture.
  5. Next, spray each section of the hair with Gold Lust Dry Heat Protection Spray. Working section by section, use a 0.75-inch curling iron to create curls on each individual ponytail.
  6. As you curl, set each section with Free Styler Working Hair Spray.
  7. Add further form and shape to the curls using Fiber Groom Elastic Texture Paste.
  8. Apply Dry Texturizing Spray all over the hair to expand volume and finish the look.
  9. Finally, gather the curls and place a French hair net on top of them, securing the net with hair pins.

Get the Look: Sleek Chignon

  1. Create a center part on clean, dry hair, then apply Maximista Thickening Spray to the roots, while sculpting the hair around the hairline.
  2. Pull the hair into a low ponytail and secure with an elastic band.
  3. Then, apply a layer of Rock Hard Gel to smooth flyaways around the hairline and throughout the length of the ponytail.
  4. Next, separate the ponytail into 2-3 sections. Working section by section, use a 1.5-inch curling iron to curl each piece.
  5. Place a French hair net around each of the 3 hair sections.
  6. Next, combine all three hair nets into one sculptural bob, tucking and rolling the hair nets under the curls so they are invisible.
  7. Secure the hair with pins, creating an architectural sculptural chignon across the base of the hair.
  8. Spray the chignon with Superfine Strong Hair Spray to set the look.
