Our Favorite Hair Moments from the 2021 BET Awards

06/28/2021

The best of Black Hollywood came together last night to celebrate Black Culture in all its glory at the 2021 BET Awards. This year’s show honored Black women with its theme “The Year of Black Woman ” and we must say that Black Girl Magic was certainly in abundance from the red carpet to the stage. With Taraji P. Henson as the host, Queen Latifah taking home the well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award, and unforgettable performances from the likes of City Girls, Andra Day, and Cardi B (who announced her second pregnancy btw!), this year’s ceremony did not disappoint.

But, our favorite leading ladies didn’t just bring it on the entertainment front, their hair looks were just as unforgettable! From H.E.R. ‘s luscious mermaid waves to Sevyn Streeter’s ‘90s hair moment with that insane embellished headpiece, we were left with so much amazing hair inspo.
