When the hair is bigger, everything’s better. Rachel Sennott and her hairstylist, Sami Knight, must feel the same because her Emmys hair, recently made fully blonde by Matt Rez, was HUGE!
Knight says Sennott’s “uber-glam look” was inspired by “the iconic bombshell hair of Pam Anderson, Claudia Schiffer, and Charo.” He adds that he “wanted to create major volume, movement, and that effortless, undone glamour.” We’d say that he accomplished this quite successfully.

Get the Look:
- “I started by generously applying Bb.Thickening Spray throughout Rachel’s gorgeous, thick hair, concentrating on the roots and working through the lengths. I added a touch of Bb.Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil to the ends for extra protection, smoothness, and shine.
- Once everything was set, I saturated the hair with Bb.Thickening Dryspun Texture Spray to add even more volume, texture, and body. I then used my hands to break up the curls, keeping the movement and texture intact rather than smoothing everything out.
- For that signature lifted shape, I pulled the front sections up and back into a high ponytail and secured it with an elastic. I wrapped a small piece of hair around the elastic and pinned it into place for a seamless finish.
- Finally, I used my hands to manipulate and mold the hair into the final shape, keeping it big, bouncy, and slightly undone. I finished everything with Bumble and bumble Spray de Mode Flexible Hold Hairspray for flexible hold that would keep the look in place all night.”
