Recreate Jamie Chung’s Lived In Look

Lived in perfection. Looks easy, but we know better. Danielle Keasling, Matrix’s Global Artistic Director worked with Jamie on her latest Hammitt shoot and she gave us the skinny on how to get the look.

Step 1: On damp hair, prep with Biolage R.A.W. Heat Styling Primer to protect and Bodifying Styling Jelly for natural body and soft lift to the hair, then blow dry

Step 2: Apply Matrix Stylelink Volume Builder to dry hair and blow dry section by section for maximum foundation and support

Step 3: (Optional) Add some hair! Jamie has great hair already, but a little volume for movement and fun, doesn’t hurt!

Step 4: Use a 1 ¼” curling iron and Matrix Stylelink Heat Buffer to lock in curls. Press the curl flat after releasing. This gives great waves and less of a stiff curlStep 5: Use Matrix Stylelink Texture Builder for root volume, support and texture

Step 6: Finish with Biolage R.A.W. Frizz Control Styling Spray for frizz control and smooth down flyaways with light shaping for a natural sheen
