A Collina Strada show is always a good time, and a big part of that has to do with the hair and makeup. In past seasons we’ve seen models wearing animal prosthetics with fantasy colors and grass-grazing looks that flirted with the absurd. The FW25 runway looks were a little hornier… In that hair lead Mustafa Yanaz, for Bumble and .bumble, created a sort of hair-horn-crimp at the crown of the head for a number of the runway models.
Models with braids had CS bangs added, which were braids sculpted into shapes resembling the brand’s initials. The effect for both styles was a little menacing, but also very cute and even girly. It names sense with the collection being “Fempire.”
“For this show, the hair wasn’t about a singular inspiration but a feeling—something that complements the energy of Collina Strada’s collection. I wanted to create styles that feel organic to the world the clothes live in, balancing structure with spontaneity,” said Yanaz. Yanaz said, “Each look was unique yet tied together by texture, movement, and an undone, punk-inspired feel.
