This community-focused campaign, running every Thanksgiving and Christmas, aims to provide warmth and support to those in need in the Greater Sacramento, California area.
A Community Tradition Turned Movement
Originating from the compassionate efforts of two pro barbers, Timmel Pittman & Lonnie Horne, “Heat the Streets” has grown into a beacon of hope and solidarity in Sacramento. Recognizing the profound impact of this initiative, Booksy has joined forces with United Barbers Club to expand the initiative’s reach and support the cause. The Thanksgiving event that took place just a few weeks ago was a complete success, assisting more than 9,000 people throughout the day. And the upcoming event this Christmas promises to be a significant gathering for the community, continuing the tradition of providing warmth and support to those in need.
