Cosmo Prof, the leading distributor of professional salon products and education, is bringing back its highly anticipated 5th Annual World of Texture virtual event. This year, World of Texture takes place on February 24, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM CST — less than two weeks away!
The World of Texture virtual event empowers stylists with the skills to expand their client base, enhance their earning potential, and elevate their presence in the industry while specifically focusing on cutting, coloring, and styling textured hair. In its 5th annual iteration the event will feature expert training from leading brands and educators such as Wella, Schwarzkopf Professional, OLAPLEX, Matrix, JOICO, Moroccanoil, John Paul Mitchell Systems, DevaCurl, Ouidad, Design Essentials and many more.

Cosmpo Prof is bringing some heavy hitters to the World of Texture virtual event. This year will see Nancy Twine, CEP of Briogeo, Yene Damtew, celebrity hairstylist and educator, and Dusty Schlabach, known as “the Curly Hair Scientist.”
Twine, renowned for her inspiring journey covered extensively here at The Tease, will make a special pre-recorded appearance. She will share insights on entrepreneurship, branding, and empowering others to achieve success. Her session will offer invaluable advice for stylists looking to grow their businesses and elevate their careers.
Damtew and Schlabach will serve as this year’s event co-hosts. Together, they will guide participants through an inspiring and educational day, sharing their extensive expertise in hair textures, curl patterns, porosity, and more. This year’s event also introduces an exciting new feature: an Instagram and TikTok Live session with Damtew and Schlabach on Sunday, February 23rd at 6:00 p.m. CST. Open to everyone and not limited to ticket holders, this session will cover strategies for leveraging digital platforms to expand reach in the textured hair space and act as a resource for stylists the day before the event.
