02/02/2026

Addison Rae didn’t take home a trophy for “Best New Artist,” but she did cement her place in the pop pantheon with her debut appearance at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. The singer-songwriter-dancer wore her honey blonde hair in a polished, classic blowout finished with soft shine seemingly referencing the greats but making the style all her own.

The look by celebrity hairstylist, and frequent collaborator, Lucas Wilson, on behalf of amika, was timeless but modern too. Just like Addison Rae.

To create Rae’s gorgeous blowout, Wilson used an assortment of staples from amika’s collection including the newly-launched Soulstruck Dry Hair MaskKeep reading for a detailed breakdown!

Get the Look:

  1. Start on wet hair and The Wizard Detangling Primer to detangle.
  2. Section the hair for a blow dry and add Plus Size Perfect Body Mousse for structure.
  3. Once hair is blown out, use a 1-inch iron to create a classic Marcel set, keeping the base dropped to avoid adding too much volume.
  4. To finish, use Soulstruck Dry Hair Mask to add moisture and shine.
