JCPenney Salon Master Stylist Heather White says “flipping the switches” is her favorite part of the morning. Often she’s the first one in the salon, and she loves brightening the space for the day. Scroll to read about a day in the life of White at her Lone Tree, Colorado JCPenney Salon location.

Setting Up For Success

Heather White: “When I come in, first thing is definitely clock in. And I check my schedule to see how many clients I have. I go and set up my station. Pick up any towels or capes that I need, definitely checking the laundry and ensuring that I have all the tools that I need for my day.”

Closing Out The Day

The Tease: How do you wrap up your day after your client appointments?

White: “For the end of my day, I ensure that all of my towel baskets are empty and ready to go for laundry the next day. And then I help with closing duties like tidying up the front desk or the salon in general. And definitely clocking out.”
