Bravo’s “Summer House” rookie of the year, Mia Calabrese, turned heads on the VMAs red carpet with a tousled updo, soft curtain curls, and a sultry finish. Pulling it off was celebrity hairstylist Suzette Boozer, aka @hair_sulon, who had to get the look through an outdoor carpet in an unusually-but-maybe-now-the-normal humid LA day.
“For Mia’s VMAs look, the red carpet was outdoors on a humid California day, so I wanted to keep her 26-inch length off her shoulders while maintaining long-lasting curls… The result was a modern, tousled French-inspired updo with soft curtain curls and a sultry finish,” Boozer shares.
