John Paul Mitchell Systems is celebrating one of their own for a very special reason. The professional hair care company recently congratulated globally renowned hair artist and JPMS Artistic Director Stephen Moody on his receipt of the prestigious Knight Award at Intercoiffure Mondial. He was awarded this top honor at a ceremony that took place on September 17th in Paris, which saw the world’s leading hairdressers come together to celebrate artistry and share their craft.
Moody, who is a member of the Intercoiffure’s exclusive The Legion of Honour (l’Ordre de la Chevalerie), is one of only 94 members who have had the honor of receiving the Knight Award in North America. For those who don’t know, this award is reserved for members who have shown exceptional service within the organization. Moody earned this high honor thanks to not only his contributions to Intercoiffure but also for his 30+ year career demonstrating talent and leadership in the professional hair community.
While in Paris to receive his Intercoiffure Mondial Knight Awards, Moody also joined forces with the Intercoiffure Mondial Cutting Council to host a show demonstrating the art of cutting hair with leading experts from around the world. The Cutting Council took to the stage with their models and showcased their craft live in front of the audience, followed by a runway show featuring their incredible work.
