The beauty industry’s best and brightest came together on Sunday, April 2nd for the 34th annual North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA). The evening marked the first time the award show was held at the Anaheim Convention Center—in the past the show had taken place in Long Beach and Las Vegas.
Often regarded as the “Oscars of Hair”, NAHA is without a doubt the beauty industry’s most prestigious competition in North America. Featuring 14 categories of excellence across hair and makeup artistry—including the popular Haircolor, Avant Garde, and Texture award categories—the competition honors the beauty industry’s top artists and creative talents who push the boundaries of skill and creativity.
This year’s show was truly a night to remember. The evening kicked off with a dynamic red carpet reception headlined by former NAHA winner and industry influencer Jalia Pettis. Industry creatives came dressed to impress as they mixed and mingled with fellow attendees and the media, sharing in their excitement for the big night.
As for the actual show, dazzling artistic presentations from the Ulta Beauty Pro Team, Ashtae, CBC Productions, and now two-time NAHA winner Cassie Carey, kept the audience entertained and engaged in between the moving acceptance speeches and award presentations.
