oVertone Products Have Found a New Home at Urban Outfitters

09/23/2021

If you’re not already shopping for all your hair must-haves at Urban Outfitters, then you are seriously missing out. As of late, the trendy retailer has been giving the Sephoras, Ulta, and Sally Beautys of the worlds a run for their money when it comes to the hair space, by stocking their shelves—both in-person and virtually—with buzzy brands like Verb, Monday Haircare, and Naturally Drenched. And, they just decided to add one more exciting brand to the mix: oVertone.

The beloved hair color brand will now be selling all of their award-winning hair and color care products through the retailer’s website, thanks to a new retail partnership. Known for their semi-permanent, color-depositing conditioner, oVertone launching at Urban Outfitters is a pretty big deal considering the brand is one of the few cruelty-free and vegan hair color options on the market. For those who don’t know, all of oVertone products are formulated with plant-based oils and are free of ammonia, bleach, and developers — all ingredients that are commonly found in many other box dyes.

We are thrilled to be launching online at Urban Outfitters,” said Jane Jun, VP of Growth Strategy and Marketing Operations at oVertone, in a statement. “They’re the ideal partner for us to make healthy hair color more available to a young, expressive audience that’s embracing their individuality through color and customization.”

Alexa Amorima, a Buyer at Urban Outfitters couldn’t agree more about the partnership being a perfect fit.

“We are so excited to launch oVertone, a leading brand in the hair color space!” she shared. “We love that the hair dye is semi-permanent and takes hair health into consideration. Our customers are creative and experimental when it comes to their beauty routines and have been eager to purchased oVertone through UO for a long time, so this partnership is a perfect fit.”

Thanks to this launch, fans of the brand will now be able to stock up on all their tried and true favorites like the hair-healthy, deposit-only Coloring Conditioner ($32) or the hydrating Toning Conditioner ($18). And if they’re looking for options outside of the brand’s color products, oVertone’s The Remedy Colorless Hair Mask ($27) and the Fader Clarifying Shampoo ($22), both of these products will also be available for purchase.

To shop the full line of oVertone products, be sure to head over to their official brand page on Urban Outfitter’s website. For more exciting announcements from the brand, make sure to follow @overtonecolor on Instagram.
