PRAVANA just took a major step forward in supporting the cruelty-free movement.
The beloved professional hair brand announced that they are officially animal test-free certified and have become the newest member of PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies program. While PRAVANA has always prided itself on being a cruelty-free brand, this important certification means that each and every one of their hair products — whether it be a bottle of their Purify & Revive Cleanse Mineral Diminishing Shampoo or a tube of their ChromaSilk HI LIFTS — will have PETA’s global “Animal Test-Free” logo, ensuring that it has been produced without animal testing.
For PRAVANA to earn this cruelty-free certification, the brand was required to verify that they and their suppliers will never “conduct, commission, pay for, or allow any tests on animals for their ingredients, formulations, or finished products anywhere in the world and that they will never do so in the future,” per PETA’s website.
According to a press release, the PRAVANA sees its official animal test-free certification for its entire brand portfolio “as a badge worn with pride” to honor its commitment towards others and uphold the legacy of the brand. And, it’s a badge that fans of the brand will surely appreciate as well. Now, they can continue to shop from their favorite hair brand knowing that no bunnies or puppies were harmed in the making of their products.
