Award-winning director and actress Olivia Wilde rocked artfully undone waves on the 2023 Academy Museum Gala red carpet and we are obsessed. Of the look, celebrity hairstylist Barb Thompson said, “our goal was effortless volume.” Well, she shoots… she scores!

- “Our goal for this look was effortless volume. To prep the hair, I started with Amplify Mousse through the roots to mid shafts for fullness.
- Next, I liberally sprayed Blow Dry Primer Spray through mid shafts to ends to protect from heat and give the hair memory that would last the whole night.
- Once blown out, I set her crown with mesh rollers to help create modern volume. I curled the hair by wrapping around an 1.5 inch iron, starting at the root to help ensure the utmost fullness. Once curled, to define the ends, I added the Nourishing Hair Oil for shine and slight separation.
- Lastly, I used Strong Hold Hairspray to lock in the look.”
