At the LA premiere of “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” the third installment in the epic series, Saldaña wore a super sexy YSL gown, shout out to stylist Petra Flannery, and her hair down with effortless texture — the ultimate study in contrast.

- “To prep, I applied one pump of Santa Lucia Styling Oil along the hairline – where her curls are naturally a bit tighter – and through mid-lengths and ends to heat protect and add shine.
- Next, I layered Root Lift Spray at the roots and Air Thickening Spray from mid-lengths to ends before blow-drying with a boar-bristle round brush and a T3 Hair Dryer. Working sections away from her face, I set each in pin curls, so they could cool and hold their shape while Zoe finished makeup.
- Just before she got into her dress, I released the pin curls and gently brushed through with a Mason Pearson Brush to create that soft, diffused movement. As a final touch, I misted Root Lift Spray onto the dry roots around her face for extra lift, letting the hair fall naturally into place.”
