These Hairstyles Stole the Show at the 2023 Grammys

02/06/2023

Every time the Grammys roll around, we can’t help but get excited. While the annual awards ceremony centers on celebrating the biggest names in music, one of the biggest reasons why we tune in is to see all of the fabulous hair looks.

Don’t get us wrong, this year’s show was certainly one for the record books in terms of achievements: Viola Davis achieved EGOT status, Beyonce broke the record for most Grammy wins of all-time, and Kim Petras became the first openly trans woman to win a Grammy. But awards and musical performances (Bad Bunny! Quavo! Lizzo! Kacey Musgraves! Harry Styles!) aside, it’s the red carpet hair that we can’t stop thinking about.

Music’s brightest stars and their glam teams really stepped up their hair game this year, with many of them choosing to take epic risks with their looks. Some stars took inspiration from past decades while others debuted eye-catching hairstyles, and we even saw the Gemini hair trend make an appearance on the red carpet.

Ahead, here are some of our favorite hairstyles from the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Lizzo looked flawless with sleek, glossy waves that featured a single curl slicked against her forehead. Her look came courtesy of hairstylist Shelby Swain

It’s giving Gorgeous Retro Blond Bombshell.”
