We are back once again with our current favorite series: TikTok X The Beauty Industry. This week we welcomed Laci Wells. Laci is a Fresno, CA full-time hairstylist and salon owner. She owns The Mane Room and specializes in balayage, extensions, highlights, Brazilian blowouts, cuts and color. Laci has a large social media following with about 206.2 K followers on TikTok and 7.6 K followers on Instagram.
Laci dove into the story of how a group of wonderful hairstylists all wanted to work together so they started their own salon in the middle of the pandemic! Not only did she give us some tips and tricks on how she does so well on her social platforms, but she also shared the hair trend that she hates the most. Laci also highlighted the importance of taking a step back from social media when needed to make sure that you are taking care of yourself.
“I was always just so intrigued by the comradery that a salon offers. I obviously love making people feel beautiful, but I also really enjoy the salon atmosphere as well.”
“What salon in our area is going to have ten open stations?”
“We really need to focus on taking care of ourselves when we become content creators.”
