Old Hollywood glamour got an undone, modern remix at the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Spring/Summer 2027 show at Paris Fashion Week. Internationally acclaimed session stylist Charlie Le Mindu brought the designer’s hair vision to life in partnership with Schwarzkopf Professional, celebrating individuality with each look inspired by the model’s unique character and the life they brought to it.
The Inspo
Taking a cue from the iconic style of Marilyn Monroe, Le Mindu reimagined classic Hollywood glamour with a more undone, modern attitude. Voluminous curls, texture and movement were key, with curls left defined rather than brushed out for a playful finish. The result balanced bold femininity with individuality and effortless confidence.
“I’m always inspired by the models themselves and the individual story I want to tell through each look. It’s about embracing the messiness of life and presenting a moment in time that isn’t always perfect. Style-wise, old Hollywood offers volume and curls, but we’ve presented it in an undone way, working with the movement of the models’ hair,” Mindu shares.
