With a slew of products out there, finding the perfect skincare regimen for your skin type can be rather difficult. Whether you have oily, dry, combination, sensitive or “normal” skin, there are many options. But we’ve broken them down for you! From oils to creams, here are the best skincare products for your skin type.

Oily Skin

Herbivore’s Lapis Blue Tansy Face Oil is specifically made for oily and acne-prone skin. It balances complexion, while hydrating and soothing redness and blemishes. Not to mention, it’s vegan and cruelty free.

Promising review: Sydney says, “I’ve tried many different lotions/oils, and nothing has kept the oil at bay except this oil. It’s pricey, but it’s worth it if you have very oily skin.”

Another skincare product for oily skin is Clinique’s Acne Solutions Oil-Control Cleansing Mask. It’s a lightweight clay formula that works to clean pores and absorb excess oil. In just five minutes, the mask soothes blemishes and keeps skin shine-free.

Promising review: Mia says, “I love this mask! It has clay so it’s perfect for absorbing oil! I use it 2-3 times a week. Plus, you only have to leave it on for 5 minutes, so it’s quick!!”

Dry Skin

Drunk Elephant’s Whipped Moisturizer is a “rescue cream” that provides intense hydration and refreshes dry skin. It restores the moisture balance and protects against water loss. Plus, it’s a certified “clean” product that doesn’t use harsh chemicals to produce great skin.

Promising review: Hudson says, “I’m obsessed with this moisturizer! I have notoriously dry skin and everything I was using just wasn’t working. This keeps my skin smooth and hydrated all day long!”

Lush’s Roma Water toner also works to restore hydration in dry skin. It uses lavender and rose water to calm and balance, leaving skin soft and moisturized. All you have to do is spritz the toner on clean skin for instant results.

Promising review: Hannah says, “I’ve used this toner for a few years now and I swear I will use it forever. I have dry skin, especially in the winter, and this helps so much! I use it all year round but works wonders in the colder months.”

Sensitive Skin

BlissRose Gold Rescue Gentle Foaming Cleanseris perfect for sensitive skin, as it is formulated with gentle ingredients that soothe while removing dirt, makeup and excess oil. With this cleanser, your skin will be left feeling balanced, nourished and fresh.

Promising review: Wendy says, “Love this cleanser! It is mild and soft, with a mild rose scent. Does not leave my skin feeling tight or dry. Recommend!”

Another sensitive skincare product is Primera’s Gentle Comfort Hydrating Cream. It combats dryness and soothes irritated skin. Using Ceramides, the cream adds a protective layer of hydration that prevents sensitivity and restores complexion.

Promising review: Steph says, “This moisturizes so well. I feel hydrated for hours! It also gives a nice glow to the skin after use. My skin is so red and sensitive to everything, and I feel like this helps calm it.”

Combination Skin

For those with combination skin, go with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream. It’s lightweight, free of harsh chemicals and delivers up to 24 hours of hydration. It can be used as a day cream or a night cream to provide a skin barrier and lock in moisture.

Promising review: Kenzie says, “Great moisturizer for combination skin and sensitive skin. Has completely changed the surface of my skin and you only need a little bit!”

Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple Cleanser is also great for combination skin. The one-step cleanser clears the skin of dirt, makeup and oil while lightly hydrating and rejuvenating. Using this product will leave your skin conditioned, fresh and pore free.
