For the 2026 Actor Awards, singer-actress Dove Cameron embraced soft girl curls in a gothy rich, dimensional brunette moment. Created by celebrity hairstylist, and longtime collaborator, Jacob Rozenberg using Redken pro color and styling products, the red carpet look was the perfect amount of polish.
Rozenberg enhanced Cameron’’s brunette with subtle depth at the root using the new Shades ALK Liquid-Cream Alkaline Demi, and a luminous, multi-tonal gloss using Redken Shades EQ Hair Gloss, creating seamless grow-out and high-shine dimension that caught the light from every angle. Styled with soft face-framing bends and brushed-out waves through the back, the final result was touchable, fluid, and very, very chic.
To style, Rozenberg used the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate line, including the new Acidic Bonding Concentrate Hair Bandage Balm for healthy-looking ends. Keep reading for the exact formula and products he used.
Get the Look:
Color:
- “We started by adding soft depth at the root using the new Redken Shades ALK 5N to create a seamless grow-out and natural shadow.
- To achieve Dove’s rich, dimensional brunette, we applied Redken Shades EQ Hair Gloss — ¾ 6N with the final ¼ split between 6NB and 6GN — processing for 10 minutes to deliver luminous shine and tonal balance.”
Styling:
- “Dove’s hair was washed using the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo & Conditioner, followed by the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate 24/7 Day & Night Serum. I then applied the new Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Hair Bandage Balm to her ends. Her hair was blown out smooth to create a healthy, polished base with natural movement.
- Using a 1” iron, I framed the face with soft bends, then dropped curls through the back for fluid movement. The curls were gently brushed out to create that soft, airy finish.
- To finish, I applied Redken Spray Wax for touchable texture, brush-applied Redken Brushable Hairspray for flexible hold, and set key sections with wave clips to lock in that polished, red-carpet-ready shape.”
