America’s Beauty Show 2021 is Happening In-Person in September

05/14/2021

Salon pros, get ready! After a year and a half of attending virtual hair events, we are so excited to share that America’s Beauty Show will be happening in-person this year.

That’s right! Cosmetologists Chicago has confirmed that the must-attend beauty extravaganza will be taking place on September 11-13th at the Donald E. Stephens Convention and Conference Center in Rosemont, Illinois. Last year, the show was forced to cancel due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, so it’s great to see it making a comeback.

“We’re so excited for America’s Beauty Show 2021 and for our community of licensed beauty professionals. The team at America’s Beauty Show has been working tirelessly with our exhibitors, suppliers, and the Village of Rosemont in preparation for this wonderful announcement.” said Frank P. Fulco, CEO of America’s Beauty Show and Cosmetologists Chicago. “America’s Beauty Show 2021 is going to be a world class educational and social experience! It’s time to reunite and build a brighter future together.

At this year’s show, attendees will be in for a weekend of beauty, inspiration, and endless education. Not only will an assortment of your favorite hair, beauty, and grooming brands be on exhibit, but these exhibitors will also be providing numerous product-specific learning and certification. Speaking of learning, this year ABS will be bringing Look & Learn workshops to the show floor which will be included in your ABS ticket.

To ensure that attendees feel safe while participating in this year’s event, ABS, Rosemont, and the show’s vendor partners will be working together to build an action plan that is in compliance with the CDC’s safety procedures and recommendations, the State of Illinois, and the Village of Rosemont. According to America’s Beauty Show’s website, the plan will adjust to meet changing conditions.

“The health and safety of our attendees is our highest priority,” said Convention Center Executive Director Chris Stephens. “We closely track and follow all best practices and guidance from the CDC and the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Franco echoed Stephens’ sentiments sharing that health and safety are a top priority for both ABS and the convention center.

“Rosemont has so much to offer. We will be hosting activities both indoor at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and outdoor at the Rosemont Entertainment District,” he said. “Our guests can comfortably and safely enjoy attending America’s Beauty Show with their colleagues. It will be a great reunion for our industry.”

Tickets are currently available for purchase on the event’s website. For more information about the show, be sure to follow @americasbeautyshow on Instagram.
