After debuting their first barber-themed mural in Atlanta back in January, Andis Company is back again with a brand-new collaborative art installation — this time situated in the colorful beach city of Venice, California.
Designed and hand-painted by the talented team at Mural Art & Consulting, this one-of-a-kind mural is a colorful depiction of creativity and playfulness that highlights the brand’s barbering heritage. At the center of the artwork is Andis’ iconic Gold Master Cordless Clipper along with its “Create Your Way” tagline.

“The Andis Company is excited to bring our Brighter Community series to Venice, California, a city steeped in surf, sport, and car culture,” said Angie Vlasaty Peterson, the company’s Vice President of Marketing. “We know creativity makes the world a better place and this mural celebrates the vibrancy of our brand’s creators, especially the barbers and stylists who create in the shop or salon every day. We created the Brighter Community Series to encourage those creators that are all around us —to stand out, make a difference. We hope this mural inspires everyone that walks past it.”

To introduce its latest mural, the brand hosted a pop-up barbershop on March 29th, in which three Andis barbers/stylists — including Donald “DC” Conley II, Vanessa Rene, Steez Cuts — offered complimentary haircuts to the public.

For those who don’t know, this eye-catching Venice art installation is part of the Andis’ ongoing Brighter Community series which works to bring art and creative inspiration to various communities to encourage people to “create their way.” The barbering brand plans on rolling out other large-scale murals throughout the rest of the year, but the other locations have yet to be announced.
The Venice Beach mural will be on display at 1921 Ocean Front Walk through May 24th. So, if you find yourself in the area, be sure to stop by and take a look at the beautiful art.
