However delayed, Audrey Nuna, the singer and rapper whose singing voice brings the character “Mira” to life in Netflix’s mega-hit “KPop Demon Hunters,” is officially on our radar for her hair, beauty and fashion choices. But mostly her hair!
Teaming up with celebrity hairstylist and Cécred pro stylist, Antoine Martinez, for the 2026 Critics Choice Awards, Nuna easily had one of the evening’s most interesting hairstyles. Her updo with the twisty buns and piecey bits immediately stood out in the best way so we got in touch with Martinez directly to understand how it all came together.
Scroll for an incredibly detailed breakdown of Nuna’s red carpet look, featuring the exact steps he took and products used.

- “I started off with freshly cleaned towel dried hair. I used 2 drops of Cécred Nourishing Hair Oil, mostly on Audrey’s ends, and followed with Cécred Detangling Spray through the rest of her hair. I then used Cécred’s Vented Paddle Brush for an easy brush through on Audrey’s long hair. Real talk, the girlies are obsessed with the calming fragrance of the Detangling Spray!
- Inspired by Audrey’s Spring 2025 Marc Jacobs dress, I sectioned out 5, irregular, asymmetric sections with my favorite Cécred Parting Tail Comb, and left some fringy bits out around her hairline, which I twisted around a clip and let dry naturally. Then, I followed using Cécred Hair and Scalp Balm on the base for clean sectioning and taming flyaways and baby hairs. I secured each section with a rubber band.
- l separated each ponytail in half, and used Cécred Moisture Sealing Lotion to then twist each half to form a tight 2 stand cable braid and finish with an elastic. I kept twisting each cable braid and let it collapse itself closer to the scalp and started to pin where desired to create irregular, abstract buns. I left the ends out for a more undone, flirty finish.
- Once dry, I let out the hairline hair, and used a little Hair and Scalp Balm left on my hands to twist the hair and accentuate the natural wavy texture while keeping it looking natural and wispy. I finished with a light hold hairspray, and ‘voila,’ she’s ready for the red carpet!”
