Long hair, do, definitely care. Mikey Madison’s long hair is back!
For the 2026 Oscars, Madison’s frequent collaborator, celebrity hairstylist, Rena Calhoun put the new length to use, fashioning “Old Hollywood”-adjacent waves that feel very young and fresh. She tells The Tease, “The look is a softly sculpted and glossy wave. It feels very glamorous, classic, and has a polished finish.”
To create the look, Calhoun used Hair Rituel by Sisley styling products and Mane tools.

- “I started by prepping the hair with Sisley La Creme 230 lightweight styling cream, applying it from mids to ends on damp hair to smooth frizz followed by Le Spray Volume at the root to add bounce, control, and to create a foundation to work with.
- Using the Mane blowdryer I roughed dried the hair. Once dry, I used the Mane It’s Giving Body Medium hot round brush to smooth the hair while maintaining lift at the roots to preserve natural volume and fluid movement throughout.
- When the curls had completely cooled, I gently brushed through the hair to soften the texture and seamlessly blend the pattern. Using setting clips, I molded the waves together, enhancing the signature “S” shape and letting them set using Sisley Invisible Hold Hair Spray for a few minutes to ensure longevity and definition.
- Once the waves were beautifully defined, I lightly misted Sisley hair spray again through the mid-lengths and ends to build airy movement and dimension to finish, tame any flyaways and refine the silhouette.
- The final look is refined yet touchable, classic yet modern. It’s a timeless, and elegant look that feels light, fresh, and beautifully ‘movie star’!”
