If there was any question about the mood at LoveShackFancy’s NYFW FW26 show the beauty looks answered: romance is evolving and we’re so here for it. Soft and glowy skin met expressive color with just enough edge to feel modern and effortless all at the same time.
Serving as the official makeup sponsor, Tarte Cosmetics brought the vision to life backstage for runway ready looks. Led by makeup artist Shyanna Lundi, the looks leaned into soft structure, romantic color, and luminous skin – never heavy, never overworked. The goal was to highlight skin that looked real, makeup that felt wearable, and a finish that balanced edge with sweetness. Two moods emerged on the runway: “Monochrome Romance” and “Girly Grunge”. While each look told a different story, both were tied by the same philosophy of fresh, sculpted skin with a glow that felt lit from within.

The creative vision behind the looks perfectly captured LoveShackFancy’s brand identity. “LoveShackFancy is rooted in romance, confidence, and individuality,” said Maureen Kelly, Founder & CEO of Tarte Cosmetics. “We wanted the makeup to enhance that spirit – elevated, expressive, and effortlessly beautiful.”Below, Lundi shared the exact Tarte products used to create both runway looks.

Get the Look: Girly Grunge

Face
Skin was evened out using the Tarte Shape Tape Stick Concealer as an all-over base, skipping powder to keep the finish fresh and skin-like. The Park Ave Princess Bronzer added warmth across the forehead, nose, and cheeks, while the Macaron Blush in Strawberry Bliss brought a soft romantic pop of color. Lastly, the Go With the Faux Freckle Stamp was stamped on to give the look a playful edge.
Eyes
Bronzer – either Maneater Silk Stick or Park Ave Princess Bronzer – was blended through the crease and the outer corner to create a soft dimension. SmolderEYES in Glaze was pressed onto the center of the lid and inner corner for a glossy highlight, while SmolderEYES in Smoke Show added depth along the outer lid and lower lash line. Lashes were prepped with the tubing primer, curled, and finished with Tubing Mascara.
Brows
Brows stayed natural for both looks, only using Brows for Days if needed and then lightly filled sparse areas with the Clay Pencil.
Lips
The best part. Maracuja Juicy Lip Plumping Liner in Blushed Rose and Honey was mixed and applied with a brush across the slips, even slightly beyond the natural lip line for fullness. Next? A layer of Maracuja Juicy Lip Gloss in Strawberry Milk to finish the look for max shine.
Get the Look: Monochrome Romance

Face
As with the Girly Grunge, Shape Tape Stick Concealer created the base, again worn without powder. Then, Macaron Blush in Honey Blossom to deliver a velvety and diffused flush. This was paired with the Park Ave Princess Bronzer for warmth and Go With the Faux Freckle Stamp for a soft touch.
Eyes
A pink eyeshadow was swept through the crease and outer corner, while a mauve shade added depth along the outer lid and lower lash line. SmolderEYES in Glaze was used as a base on the lid and topped with a pink shimmer to stay aligned with that romantic and tonal glow. Lashes were curled and finished with Tubing Mascara.
Brows
Once again, the brows were kept minimal using Brows for Days and lightly filled with the Clay Pencil if needed.
Lips
Maracuja Juicy Lip Plumping Liner in Cool Mauve was brushed onto the lips for soft definition, then topped with the Maracuja Juicy Lip Gloss in Pink Lemonade to complete the monochrome moment.

Both looks captured the spirit of LoveShackFancy at NYFW FW26– romantic, confident, and expressive, while showcasing Tarte’s signature approach to modern skin and effortless color.
