We all have those standout characters we love from our favorite movies and shows. Whether you’re into witty sitcoms or laugh-out-loud comedies, it’s not just their personalities that stick with us… it’s their signature style, too! When it comes to creating characters who are both realistic and memorable, no one does it quite like Moira Frazier.
Frazier is the 3x Emmy-nominated Hair Department Head of Abbott Elementary. She’s also the Founder and CEO of the natural hair product line Fingaz Beauty and Fingaz Beauty Academy. Her brand provides clients with a wide range of high-quality wigs and natural hair products. Such as her iconic Lace Lock Melting Spray and the Moisture Lock Hair Crème.
Frazier was even once dubbed the “fastest braider in all of Toledo” early in her career. She brings over 20 years of beauty industry experience, with over a decade working in television and film.
Her work goes far beyond the small screen, too. She is a personal hair stylist who has collaborated with A-list talent like Sheryl Lee Ralph, Nicole Byer, and Quinta Brunson. Frazier created gorgeous, trend-setting looks for their red carpet appearances. (Yes, that unforgettable “bejeweled updo” at the 2022 Emmy Awards? That was Frazier.)
This episode of Volume Up By The Tease, host Jeffrey Lunnen sat down with Frazier to talk about her inspiring journey. From working any odd hair jobs to becoming a brand founder and powerhouse stylist in the entertainment industry, Frazier likes to say, “enjoy the journey”!
